**Position Title: Administrative Assistant**
**Location**: WPC Project Site near Kronau, SK (NW 20 14 17 W2nd)
**Reports To**: Operations Manager
**Job Summary**
Western Potash is a potash mining company located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Our company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vancouver-based Western Resources Corp. which is publicly listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. We are currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team, and together develop the Milestone Phase I Potash Project.
This position is assisting the team with administrative tasks.
**General Accountability & Objectives**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Administration Assistant will mainly be responsible, without limitations, for the following tasks:
- Support Western Potash HSSE policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance to all company policies, procedures and guidelines, including all purchasing policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support to the team including; calendar management, organizing mail, memo’s, letters, answering telephones, arranging courier, document preparation, paper and electronic filing;
- Responsible for the office running, including ordering and organizing office supplies;
- Responsible for the coordination of project services meetings, order of lunches, booking venues, ensuring all required tools are in place and working before the meeting starts;
- Assist in the administration of land files, project financial administration including employee expenses, invoice payments, new vendor setup and procurement activities;
- Attend internal meetings as required producing minutes as needed;
- Produce reports and documents for the team accurately and efficiently; distribute as required;
- Review/edit/organize correspondence/meetings for the team.
- Promote/focus on establishing a positive environment in the office;
- Liaise with project team for attendance of required Health and Safety meetings, support leaders to ensure training requirements were met, and Health and Safety procedures are respected.
- Support the team with travel arrangements when needed;
- Coordinate office services and equipment maintenance, support the team with general maintenance of office and car fleet;
- Other administrative project duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of office administration experience required.
- Completion of a Diploma or Degree in Business Administrative, Record Management or related field;
- Drivers License is desirable.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Able to travel both within Canada and internationally as required.
