We are looking for someone that has a _**strong knowledge of North American film**_ and _a _**true love for all things cinema**_
- Working with our programming team, your will help build exciting film events at the Hyland.
- Your background should include experience in building or promoting an event.
- Your work will include working with local communities, developing the event, making sure all assets are available for promotion such as poster, trailers, website updates & social media.
- You will follow the event through to the premiere and help oversee the presentation.
- You should also be able to help at the front end; selling tickets and overseeing staff.
- You need to enjoy Interacting with the customers, discussing films or films suggestions.
- The Hyland has a small enthusiastic team of film nuts and we all enjoy the challenge, creativity and fun of creating this events.
- You must love this type of creative challenge and film to enjoy the work and the crazy hours
- _Please note pay rates will be based on experience and will be reviewed on job offer_

**SKILLS**
- excellent knowledge North American film history, films and film genres
- some experience creating events or similar projects
- 4 years experience in Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere)
- post secondary education in a field that is directly related to cinema or in which you have applied your skills to projects around film or film exhibition
- **must **have driver's licence/car
- must live in London
- cash/customer experience
- key-holder experience

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
