The Volunteer Coordinator will oversee the volunteer management for the LLBK non-profit shopping event(s).
Requirements include:
1. Be able to lift at least 25 pounds
2. Clear and confident communicator
3. Ability to delegate and lead a group of people
4. Be comfortable with large crowds
5. Efficient in data management and recording for calculating impact at the end of the event(s)
Tasks include:
1. Organizing, coordinating and managing the recruitment of volunteers , various committees, and association programs.
2. Working with social, civic and local organizations to develop partnerships, where appropriate, to develop and/or utilize volunteers.
3. Developing and implementinng training programs for all volunteers.
4. Maintaining updated records on all volunteers.
6. Reporting to staff on volunteer activities as needed.
8. Developing and implementing a volunteer recognition program.
