The Insurance Council of British Columbia is the regulatory organization that licenses and regulates the activities of over 45,000 life and general insurance agents, general insurance salespersons, insurance adjusters, and restricted travel insurance agents in British Columbia.

**The Opportunity**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Respond to licensing agency inquiries
- Document all pertinent telephone calls and meetings in the file on the Licensing system
- Prepare and issue correspondence regarding outstanding requirements and clarification of licensing requirements
- Review and process Agency nominee change requests
- Liaise with other regulatory bodies regarding applicants and licensees
- Handle other duties as assigned by the Manager, Agency Licensing

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum 3 years experience in regulatory, financial services, or related fields.
- Insurance or financial services education and /or experience is preferred
- Computer skills, with proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in client service and conflict resolution.
