**Job Description Summary**: Accounting Specialist - A/P and Sales Contract Officer

**Le rôle**:
En tant **qu’Analyste comptable, comptes payables (bilingue EN FR)**, vous exécuterez une variété de fonctions comptables, en mettant l’accent sur les comptes payables et la gestion des contrats de service et de maintenance. Relevant du responsable comptable, vous rejoindrez une excellente équipe de comptabilité de quatre personnes, travaillant de manière interfonctionnelle avec différents départements (ventes, entrepôt, finances). Ce rôle est en télétravail basé sur la région de Mississauga/Toronto, Ontario, ou dans la région de Montréal/Boucherville/Longueuil, Québec.

**Les responsabilités**:
**Contrats de Service & Maintenance**
- Saisir les Contrats de Service et de Maintenance dans le système Financier Great Plains en préparation pour la facturation (Compilation, Traitement et Conformité), et maintenir une communication claire avec les clients lors de ce processus.
- Signaler toute irrégularité au département concerné et participer à une résolution si nécessaire.
- Réconciliation des comptes de GL en lien avec les produits reportés.

**Comptes Payables**
- Comptabiliser la Réception des commandes Inter-Compagnie (C/P).
- Comptabiliser les Factures Interco et Effectuer les paiements via le système « BD Netting ».
- Comptabiliser les Payables et effectuer les paiements électroniques aux fournisseurs.
- Effectuer les paiements périodiques des Taxes de ventes TPS/TVP/TVH à la demande de l’analyste financière.
- Participer activement dans le dossier des Crédits R&D (Extraction des dépenses - Projet R&D).

**Autres tâches comptables**
- Communiquer avec la Banque pour toute demande spéciale
- Gérer les Flux de Trésorerie et communiquer les résultats au gestionnaire
- Effectuer les analyses et réconciliations mensuelles de certains postes de bilan
- Effectuer les écritures comptables récurrentes, périodiques ou occasionnelles.
- Répondre aux demandes internes des divers départements (Corpo, Finances, Ventes ou Marketing).
- Participer et supporter les vérificateurs lors de l’audit annuel.
- Participer aux projets d’Intégration ou d’Expansion divers au besoin
- Optimiser les processus internes en suggérant de nouvelles méthodes de travail ou en implantant certains contrôles et validations dans le but d’améliorer l’efficacité du département

**Vos compétences**:
Vous êtes parfaitement bilingue en français et en anglais (lire, écrire, parler), la maîtrise des deux langues est essentielle pour communiquer avec les fournisseurs, clients, et collègues à travers le Canada et les États-Unis. Vous possédez une bonne connaissance des logiciels Great Plains, SAP ou d’autres systèmes ERP, et vous maîtrisez la suite MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Vous êtes capable de gérer de multiples dossiers ou fichiers à la fois et un volume de travail à la hausse. Vous possédez la capacité d’adapter votre style dans un environnement dynamique, et pouvez travailler de manière indépendante et en équipe.

Vous possédez d’excellentes compétences analytiques, de l’initiative, de l’attention aux détails, ainsi que des compétences interpersonnelles et de communication, vous permettant d’interagir toujours de manière professionnelle et respectueuse avec toutes les parties prenantes.

**Éducation et expériences requises**:

- Détenir un diplôme universitaire BAC en Comptabilité, ou un diplôme d'études postsecondaires (c.à-d. DEC), ou un Certificat en comptabilité, avec au moins cinq ans d'expérience dans un rôle similaire, travaillant de préférence pour une large organisation et dans un environnement matriciel.

**About the role**:
**As a bilingual (French/English) Accounting Specialist, Accounts Payables, you will **perform a variety of accounting functions, with an emphasis on Accounts Payables and the management of Service & Maintenance Agreements. Reporting to the Accounting Leader, you will join a great accounting team of four, working cross functionally with different departments (sales, quoting, warehouse, finance). This remote-based role can be located within the Mississauga/Toronto, Ontario are, or within commutable distance to Longueuil, Quebec.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
**Service & Maintenance contracts**
- Record Service and Maintenance Contracts into Great Plains Financial System in preparation for invoicing (Compilation, Processing and Compliance), and maintain clear communication with customers.
- Report any irregularities to the relevant department and support with a resolution as necessary.
- Reconciliation of GL accounts in connection with deferred products.

**Accounts Payables**
- Process Dropship Orders in the Financial system (A/P).
- Process and post Intercompany Payables invoices and make payments via BD Netting system.
