We are seeking an enthusiastic HR Generalist to join us If you're passionate about making a real impact, fostering inclusion, and driving organizational excellence in a multi-site environment in the Niagara Area we want to hear from youJob ResponsibilitiesDeliver professional and administrative services in multiple Human Resources functions in a multi-site environment for leaders and staffTalent Acquisition & OnboardingCompensation and benefitsLabour RelationsTraining & DevelopmentJob Evaluation and Compensation AnalysisHR Team Administration & People ManagementHealth & Safety and WellnessHR records managementPolicy implementation/interpretationQualificationsUniversity degree in Human Resources or Business, combined with a certificate in Human Resources or Industrial RelationsCHRP or CHRL designation, or working toward completionTwo to five years of progressive experience in human resources, with demonstrated experience providing HR support and guidance to employees at all levels of the organizationExperience working in the not-for-profit sector including hospital or health care setting is an assetDetailed knowledge of Ontario employment legislationStrong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple and competing prioritiesStrong professional presence, demonstrates good judgment and handles interactions with tact and diplomacyDemonstrated decision-making, analytical/problem solving and organizational skillsAbility to take initiative and multi-task, with proven time management skillsKeen attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidential informationExperience dealing with challenging and sensitive employee situationsAbility to deal with ambiguity, complexity and shifting prioritiesExceptional communication (verbal, written and listening), presentation, interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to build collaborative internal and external relationshipsFlexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work with distractions and adjust to changeMust have advanced knowledge and experience implementing and managing an HRIS system (Sage would be an asset)Knowledge and experience with payroll and benefits administrationDemonstrated intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)Additional InformationMust have a valid Drivers License and reliable transportationOn-Site only
