**JOB SUMMARY**

**ORGANIZATION**

Wyndham House provides high-quality case management, housing, and clinical supports to youth with a variety of needs and complexities. Wyndham House programs include two Permanent Supportive Housing Programs, an Emergency Shelter, a Housing Stability Outreach Team, an Integrated Youth Service Hub and a Care and Treatment Day Program. Wyndham House is a fast-paced and growing organization that works to prevent, reduce, and end youth homelessness, as part of the Built for Zero change effort, which is working to end chronic homelessness in Canada.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Payroll/financial Admin support duties (50%)_
- Operational Support for Payroll
- Weekly A/P processing
- Prepping bank deposits
- Account reconciliations (including credit card statements), personal expense claims
- Annual Audit prep support
- Work with Managers to purchase supplies for all locations
- Staff Recruitment Support duties (50%)_
- HR admin support for agency hiring processes & activities
- scheduling interviews & preparation for interviewing process & follow up for references
- preparation of employment contracts
- Participating in initial employment meetings, & setting up new employees in payroll
- organizing & maintaining of employee files
- Managing the completion of pre-employment tasks such as tax forms completion, benefits enrollment process etc.
- Minimum qualifications requirements:_
- Successful completion of a recognized diploma/certification in accounting/bookkeeping business, HR, or related field
- 3 years’ experience within an administrative/financial field including work in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payment processing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (creating spreadsheets, charts and using financial excel functions)
- Hands on experience or solid knowledge of Sage accounting software & ADP payroll is needed for this position
- Experience within not-for-profit work environment is an asset
- Excellent time management & superior organization skills
- proven self-starter with proactive problem-solving abilities

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sage/accounting: 3 years (preferred)
- HR/admin: 3 years (preferred)
