Infrastructure Ontario (IO) continues to evolve and expand its capabilities to maximize its public impact and deliver on its vision of creating a connected, modern, and competitive Ontario. IO’s Finance, Technology, and Lending Enterprise Team ensures that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency’s finances are monitored, reported, and managed appropriately. The team also manages the infrastructure lending program, which has supported more than $19 billion in local infrastructure development, and IO’s Information Technology and Business Services, providing tools and systems to ensure secure, effective, and efficient operations.

Reporting to the Director, Business Transformation, the Business Transformation Manager will provide support in key disciplines such as change management, benefits management and portfolio management for enterprise initiatives enabled by the Business Transformation Office (BTO).

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Act as a key member of the BTO to continuously plan, identify, research, and contribute best practices and thought leadership to enhance the maturity of IO practices and processes related to business transformation.
- Design change management strategies and plans for an assigned portfolio of enterprise initiatives and engage stakeholders across IO to build awareness of organizational change management and its role in successful business transformation.
- Facilitate tactical and cultural change management in collaboration with initiative leaders and teams to plan and execute change management tactics and enhance cross-functional collaboration and communication.
- Act as trusted advisor to prioritized enterprise initiatives and generate insights on the approach, scope, plans, governance, risks, and interdependencies with other initiatives enabled by the BTO.
- Engage with initiative teams to assist in remediating significant gaps related to proposed business cases, benefits realization plan, and organizational change management approach and/or scope.
- Enable governance that integrates IO’s priority enterprise initiatives incorporating specialized knowledge of business transformation, technology implementations, monitoring alignment with standards by working collaboratively with IO stakeholders to develop other ad hoc integrated reporting mechanisms and benefits management, as required.

- Experience in the planning, implementation, and oversight of enterprise-wide transformation projects.
- Knowledge of organizational change management and benefits management in the context of business transformation
- Knowledge of capital, real estate development and provincial asset management as well as impacts to these industries from a political, environmental, social and technological perspective is an asset.
- Experience and passion for helping organization adopt large scale change and best practices.
- Experience and natural ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
- Developed system thinking and strong analytical skills.
- Post-graduate degree in Business Management/Administration, Commerce or a related discipline is an asset.
- Change management certification and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset.
- Previous experience in a public sector or quasi-public sector organization is an asset.
