**Overview**:
At Canada Health Infoway (Infoway) we believe a more connected and collaborative system is a healthier system, and we work with governments, health care organizations, clinicians, and patients to make health care more digital. We’re working to ensure that everyone is able to access their personal health information, book appointments, get prescriptions, view lab test results and access other health services, online. We are working with our partners to transform the health system because we know that digital health can be as transformative as digital has been in other aspects of our lives. We are an independent, not-for-profit organization funded by the federal government.
Continuing to improve Canadian health care necessitates work in interoperability connected systems are healthier systems. Connected care means a healthier Canada, and Infoway is committed to advancing interoperability. Harnessing data sharing will result in “connected care” and a modern health system for all Canadians. In support of the provinces and territories, Infoway is facilitating a national collaborative effort to advance interoperability using a collaborative development process.

**Position Purpose**:
This role will help with transforming and maturing of Infoway’s business processes to deliver digital health interoperability in Canada. The individual will work closely with all levels of the organization to diagnose opportunities and collaborate with process owners and executive leadership teams to develop initiatives to deliver transformational change. The success requirements for this role requires a mix of proven capability in business and digital transformation, change management and project management.
**Major Responsibilities**:
**Business and Digital Transformation**:
- Lead and/ or support business process transformation through structured methodology
- Can lead and support any point of the lifecycle from assessment through to adoption and performance evolution
- Transform business process, including people, technology and performance metrics
- Development of SOP/ procedure documents/ training materials
- Analyze and develop performance models and metrics to track the progress and success of business transformation initiatives
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in healthcare and assess their potential impacts
- Able to translate complexity into easy to understand concepts to mobilize action plans
**Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration**:
- Develop stakeholder impact matrix to inform stakeholder strategy, planning and engagement.
- Work closely with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure alignment between business objectives and interoperability initiatives
- Support and strengthen engagement with internal and external stakeholders to drive transformation initiatives.
- Develop and support change interventions
**Strategic Alignment and Execution**:
- Ensure business transformation work is tied to broader Infoway strategy and execution
- Collaborate with broader Connected Care teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for accelerated advancement of Interoperability objectives
- Conduct market research on existing and emerging external or internal analysis that may lead to new opportunities to accelerate Canada’s interoperability journey
- Develop business cases for strategic initiatives supporting Infoway’s Interoperability strategy and fulfilling Infoway’s mandate in accelerating Canada’s interoperability journey
