JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform PLC programming tasks including development, integration testing, commissioning and support, and associated documentation
- Develop new functionality to fulfill client initiatives, including PLC and HMI development and integration with external systems
- Communicate with key project stakeholders within both the company and the customer
- Translate business requirements into detailed design specifications to address both functional and non-functional requirements for major feature components
- Serve as an expert resource within the company on the functionality of assigned modules

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS **(5 to 10 years experience)**
- Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines that support the following list of qualifications
- Experience in high quality PLC programming (ladder logic, structured text, phase controls, AOI’s, tag data structures) with Allen Bradley and/or Schneider Modicon
- Understanding of PLC communication protocols and/or PLC networking
- Experience integrating PLC’s with HMI and MES systems
- Experience with AVEVA System Platform 2014 and newer
- Experience executing project execution phases of requirements, design, development, testing, UAT, FAT, Commissioning, SAT
- Experience supporting sales initiatives
- Strong understanding of batching and continuous process
- Understanding of material traceability
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and team building skills
- Adaptable, able to learn new skills/technologies
- Ability to work globally

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with SQL (Microsoft SQL Server preferred), OPC UA, Cloud Based software integration is an asset
- Strong skills in Windows based operating systems
- Project management and/or Technical leadership experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office product suite
- Inductive Automation Ignition

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
