**Job Summary**

**What is the opportunity?**

In this position, you will be a key member of the Investor Services Strategy team and will partner with a broad variety of stakeholders to help develop, articulate and execute on RBC Investor Services’ strategy. You will work with a team to deliver analysis to support decision-making and financial planning in the business. You will play an active role in identifying, analyzing and addressing strategic opportunities for RBC Investor Services.

**What will you do?**
- Conduct financial analysis, which is critical in determining strategic outcomes
- Analyze asset servicing industry themes, competitive positioning, market attractiveness, competitor profiles and performance results
- Synthesize data from internal and external sources (including industry periodicals, press releases, etc.) to help draft strategic documents
- Prepare materials, management reporting and presentations for senior management
- Work with a team to support the Senior Management Team of RBC Investor Services on ad-hoc strategic requests and recurring business management deliverables.
- Work closely with IS’ partners (such as Finance, Technology & Operations and Human Resources) in support of strategic objectives

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must-have**
- Undergraduate degree
- 4+ years’ experience in investment banking, business strategy, advisory, financial planning & analysis, research or similar roles
- Knowledge of the financial services industry (nice-to-have: asset servicing industry)
- Analytical mindset and experience in financial analysis
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience preparing materials and presentations for executive audiences
- Ability to effectively manage competing timelines and priorities for multiple teams

**Nice-to-have**
- Experience building dashboards via PowerBI
- Experience in Business Management functions
