Cambridge, Canada NuQuest Integrated Services Full time

We require the new employee to consistently Look beyond the next day planned runs and organize/ post for loads that compliment set daily/weekly runs.

Working daily to create new contacts and prospect for new clients to assist in growing our trucking division.

**Duties**:

- Coordinate local driver runs based on existing loads and finding new ones.
- Monitor and coordinate all Daily pickups and deliveries, ensure correct paperwork to dock staff for loading of all units and delivery schedules, update all customers on load status.
- Solicit new business and additional freight daily to build and develop the local delivery portion of the company.
- Monitor profitability on all delivery trucks, to ensure profitability margins are met
- Ensure all Safety & Compliance standards are met and exceeded, including driver hours, customs regulations, border crossing procedures, etc.
- Problem solve load specific issues from the point of booking through completion of each load
- Collaborate and offer assistance to other team members in delivering optimal transportation service solutions
- Solicit and post in Link for additional loads for new freight.

**Administration**:

- Responsible for cost analysis, benchmarking rates and service levels
- Evaluate and ensure profitability on each load, collection of all associated documentation to completed the final billing process
- Data entry of accurate information in company database including shipment tracking, and all associated billing charges for each load
- Maintain driver schedules, rates, and booking information
- Monitor daily all drivers compliance benchmarks -circle checks
- E-logs, documentation, fuel, hours of service, safety & compliance.
- On call to service driver/truck related issues
- Develop growth strategies on new and existing customers

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of Local Dispatch experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of Canadian and US highway safety practices
- Experience working with Load link, PC Miler, Microsoft software
- Successful track record of providing high standard of customer service and attention to detail
- Demonstrates professional verbal and written communication
- Excellent follow-up skills with customers, internal staff and management
- Ability to multi-task and work well under time sensitive conditions
- Demonstrates confidence, enthusiasm and a desire to excel
- Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills
- Extended hours of work required occasionally including on call, weekends and holidays
