Medical Receptionist for a two-physician family practice office

**Duties**:

- We will provide a lengthy paid training period with our retiring receptionist
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using an electronic scheduling and billing system
- Answer phone calls on a multi-line phone system
- Collect patient information and update medical records accurately
- Verify OHIP coverage and manage private billing
- Make specialist referrals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed

**Skills**:

- Experience working in a medical office
- Knowledge of front desk operations and phone systems
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Strong administrative and organizational and multi-tasking skills

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.
