**Position Summary**:
The Rural Municipality of Corman Park (RM) is a growing municipality, with a population of approximately 8,909 (2021). Ratepayers, vendors, business owners/operators, and staff visit the RM office every business day. As such there is a consistent presence of people and activities that need to be addressed.

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support, including answering inquiries from the public and ratepayers and staff, and performing general administrative functions in a busy office environment. This position provides administrative support for the entire organization, supporting all departments. There may be a requirement for additional duties, as appropriate, to meet the needs of the business.

**Duties**:
Customer Service
- Refer all inquiries to the appropriate staff or support partners
- Receive and distribute all forms of correspondence to the appropriate staff and support partners
- Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to appropriate person
- Be the first point of contact for office

Administrative
- Prepare letters, forms, and other documentation as required
- Complete tax search and tax certificate requests
- Update general website information as requested
- Process cash receipting functions
- Assist in the compilation of data for various reports
- Provide information to staff/public about special events
- Update snow removal spreadsheet
- Update public notice board
- General administrative support for all departments, not limited to Planning, Public

Works, Corporate Services and Administration
- Provide coverage, as required, to all departments in an administrative capacity
- Accept and monitor incoming shipments
- Maintain inventory of RM maps
- Maintain stock of grid road maps, water sample kits, signs order as needed
- Maintain stationery supplies, kitchen supplies and general supplies required
- Monitor and maintain office equipment
- Other necessary tasks may be required or assigned and that have been deemed reasonable

**Education/ Experience Requirements**:

- Office administration courses and/or previous experience are an asset
- Experience working in an office environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Ability to compile and coordinate information for a variety of business functions
- Ability to adjust to a growing organization and adopt evolving programs/processes
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with civic staff and the public
- Independence of judgement and capability of working under mínimal supervision

**Employment Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 education
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to learn other office software
- A minimum, accurate typing speed of 55 words per minute

This position is based at the Administration office on Pinehouse Drive in Saskatoon. Business hours are Monday‐Friday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

**Salary**: $46,522.00-$58,153.00 per year
