Haven Family Connections is a non-profit in Saskatoon offering preventative services, including respite and in-home mentorship to families who are at-risk or in crisis. Haven is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Management Team. The Admin Assistant is directly accountable to the Family Support Program Director and performs administrative duties in collaboration with the Indigenous Family Wellness Program Director and Executive Director.

Administrative Responsibilities:
Maintain program database and paper files including new referrals, changes and closures
Monitors employee pension and benefit eligibility and relays info to Executive Director
Ensures new staff fill in necessary forms, provides the to the Office Manager and maintains HR files
Twice monthly, collates completed payroll forms to provide payroll spreadsheet to the Office Manager
Compiles and calculates stat holiday pay
Compile statistics and submit necessary government reporting forms monthly
Support the administration of Indigenous Wellness programming
Manage office supplies and order when necessary
Manage and maintain small petty cash float
Other duties may include file maintenance, photocopying, organizing and typing as requested.
General office cleaning, emptying garbages, keeping front area orderly and other light cleaning duties as requested.
It is mandatory that all information will be kept in the strictest of confidence.

The Qualifications and Requirements
Previous administrative experience
Advanced computer skills (must have experience and knowledge of databases, Excel and Word)
Detail orientated with a commitment to performing duties accurately
Ability to work in a small team environment
Adaptable and open to changing duties and responsibilities
Demonstrated communication skills

30 hours/week
This position includes a health benefit plan and matched pension contribution

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: From $21.53 per hour
