Prince George Truck & Equipment is a Family Owned and Operated Mechanical Repair Shop and International Parts Dealer. We have operated since 1964. We service Trucks/Equipment of all makes and models.
**Job Title: Administrative Assistant**
We are looking for an **Office Admin**. Who will show up every day. Ready to work. Show attention to detail. Take pride in their work and show their skill and experience in that work.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office by filing Work Orders. Looking up Service Invoices or Purchase Orders.
- **Answer and direct phone calls**, **take messages**, and respond to inquiries
- **Prepare and distribute correspondence**, memos, and reports
- **Maintain filing systems**, both electronic and physical
- **Perform data entry and update databases as needed**:
- **Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks**, such as invoicing and expense tracking and time
sheets as needed.
**Skills**:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience handling cash and taking payments through deibt/credit systems.
Starting wage offer is based on experience. This is a full-time position with regular office hours.
- Benefits will begin after 3 months of employment, 50% covered by employer.
- RRSP is 2% of Gross Pay and matched by Employer.
- Employee Sick days begin after 3 months Employment.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

- Secondary School (preferred)
