Project Controls Manager

Mitchell Installations Ltd is an Industrial Mechanical Contractor and we are looking to hire a Project Controls Manager to join our team at our Site C project in Fort St John, British Columbia.
The Project Controls Manager is an integral member of the project team and is Responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, progress measurement, risk management and reporting.
This position is for a term of approximately one year but may have opportunity for reassignment at the end of the project for the right person.
- **Some examples of required duties**:_
- Read and become thoroughly familiar with all project documentation.
- Manage project cost and schedule.
- Prepare monthly progress claims for payment.
- Reporting of performance status.
- Communicate with the project team to provide guidance on schedule priorities and critical tasks to achieve milestones.
- Participate in weekly/monthly progress meetings with the client project team.
- Communicate with subcontractors in order to schedule their work.
- Track & manage change orders and process daily field reports into billings.
- **Requirements**:_
- Experience in project cost and schedule controls.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree is an asset.
- Construction Management Degree is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite of products
- Effective communication skills including verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in English and competent in writing and grammar
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment
- Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
Location is Fort St John, BC.
**Salary**: $53,361.17-$131,002.18 per year
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
**Experience**:
- Project controls management: 5 years (preferred)
Willingness to travel:
- 75% (preferred)
