McFadden’s Hardwood & Hardware Inc. is searching for a dynamic Content Specialist to join our team. Talented with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite. The primary responsibility of this role is to manage images, attributes, and descriptions of products in our product information management (PIM) system. With an extensive catalog, this role requires meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. This individual would workin a hybrid environment out of our Oakville or Vaughan location.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Image Management**: Oversee the organization, editing, and uploading of product images for all three company websites.
- **Description and Attribute Management**:Oversee the categorization of products and upload all applicable attributes to them. Product titles, descriptions and selling features will be generated and uploaded to the PIM.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure all product images meet quality standards, including resolution, colour accuracy, and consistency using Adobe Creative Suite to enhance, resize, crop and retouching.
- **Collaboration**: Coordinate with various teams including marketing, e-commerce, and product management to ensure timely and accurate product updates.
- **Inventory Management**: Use Excel to maintain detailed records of image inventory and ensure that all products have the required number of images according to company standards.
- **Troubleshooting**: Address any image or product-related issues promptly, including broken links, missing images, or incorrect descriptions.
- **Optimization**: Implement best practices for image optimization to improve website performance and user experience.
- **Documentation**: Maintain detailed documentation and guidelines for image and product management processes to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to image management and suggest improvements to existing processes.

What you will bring:

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and organization.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator, for image editing and manipulation.
- Previous experience in website content management is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- HTML knowledge, a plus.
- Knowledge of STEP/Stibo Master Data Management Platform, a plus.
