**FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Provides reliable support for the clinic manager.

2. Assumes managerial duties when clinic manager is unavailable or not onsite.

3. Acts as a point of contact for admins, physicians, and senior management.

4. Supervise the administrative staff.

5. Works with the Clinic Manager on staff scheduling to ensure effective clinic coverage and yield productive results; provides current details relating to staffing concerns.

6. Provide pertinent billings information and records required to Finance on a consistent schedule, or when requested.

7. Assist in the ongoing training, development, and coaching of the administration team.

8. Work with Clinic Manager and Human Resources in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation process.

9. Actively facilitates and participates in team meetings; encouraging open communication and keep team up to date on clinic programs and operations; share results and feedback with senior management.

10. Manage patient and provider issues/complaints by escalating to the Clinic Manager as required.

11. Partners with Medical Practitioners to ensure medical staff are adhering to treatment standards and are fully executing the clinic’s programs.

12. Other duties as assigned or required.

By being results-driven, will recognize problems and work with the Clinic Manager to formulate and provide solutions. Systematically gathers information, sorts through complex issues, seeks input from others, addresses root causes of issues, and resolves issues through creativity and break-through ideas.

**PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT**

Promotes an environment of teamwork and self-leadership. Provides feedback and coaching with Clinic Managers support, rewards hard work and innovation, builds strong relationships, leverages strengths, challenges and develops staff members, and communicates effectively with team members. Celebrates teams and company achievements. Lives the Jack Nathan Values day-to-day in the clinic.

**COMPUTER SKILLS**

Skilled in the use of computers, adapts to new technology, keeps abreast of changes, learns new programs quickly, uses computers to improve productivity.

Knowledge of medical software, EMR’s, Zoom, Google Suite and MS Office.

**ORGANIZATION & COMMUNICATION SKILLS**

Strong foundation of organizational and time management skills, able to multi-task and act in a timely and effective manner. Proficient communication skills, but verbal and written as well as the ability to actively listen. Promotes an atmosphere where knowledge is shared by having consistent, appropriate, and respectful communication with team members.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
1. Minimum of 2 years of clinic of medical office administration

2. OHIP & EMR billing experience

3. Medical or Health related college degree

4. Ability to work weekends and evenings as required based on business demands

5. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**MANDATORY REQUIREMENT**:
**Effective November 15, 2021, all Jack Nathan Function Health employees are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Full vaccination occurs 14 days following the second dose of a Health Canada approved vaccine.**

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
