**CLINICAL ASSISTANT**

- The wage range for this role is $18.69-$21.24/hr._

**Your tasks at a glance**
- You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
- You answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service.
- You work closely with Optometrists.
- You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
- You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
- You confirm by phone post-operative appointments.

**A clear view of your assets**
- You have an interest in the medical field and/or have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).
- You are motivated to learn and grow within the company.
- You have the ability to relate to others and quickly establish a climate of trust.
- You have excellent communication skills.
- You are comfortable with computers, technology and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- Work schedule: _Monday to Friday 7:45-4:15, or Tuesday-Saturday 7:45-4:15. *We ask for flexibility to start as early as 6.45 a.m. and/or finish later on surgery days.*_
