**Job Summary**
The Program Coordinator, under the direction of the Centre Director, will primarily be responsible to administer leadership and mentorship to educators as well as disciplinary action in accordance with established procedures. This position will implement programs to ensure the safety of children. This role will also oversee needs assessments, goals, and formulated plans for staff improvement, and follow up and provide feedback to centre director. The Program Coordinator must have the ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve and exceed their goals and ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems.

**Job Duties**
- Implement programs to ensure the safety of students and eliminate issues relating to harassment, bullying, or discrimination
- Oversee needs assessments, goals, and formulated plans for student improvement, and follow up and provide feedback to staff members
- Continuously promote a positive learning environment for everyone
- Analyze departmental operations and identify areas requiring improvement
- Determine areas of improvement for employees, providing additional training as needed
- Ensure that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Ensure that employees adhere to all health and safety regulations
- Ensure that safe work practices are being followed
- Collaborate with Centre Director to handle parent/guardian complaints and comments
- Collaborate with Centre Director to handle employee complaints, interpersonal conflicts, and incidents including accidents, health and safety concerns, work refusals, and investigations
- Collaborate with Centre Director to complete Monthly Reporting
- Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development
- Administrative duties
- Ability to implement and execute ministry guidelines, expectations for licensing and the day-to-day policy /practice.
- Establish and maintain relationships with Parents
- Maintaining waitlists
**Job Requirements**
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team to achieve and exceed their goals
- Ability to identify issues and implement creative and strategic solutions to overcome problems
- Ability to delegate, set expectations, and monitor progress of all direct reports
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
- Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret goals, objectives, and policies
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivation of employees
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Ability to remain calm and poised in urgent situations
- Ability to operate a computer system and fulfill basic administrative skills
- Maintain Social Media channels and communication channels
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
**Work Conditions**
- Interaction with children, parents, educators, employees, management staff, community partners, and the public at large
- Operation of desktop computer and peripherals
- Attendance and conducting of presentations
- Overtime as required
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
We are continuing to do enhanced cleaning thru a 3rd party company. We have masks available for all staff ,families and visitors that would like to wear one. We do daily screening on all staff, children and families before entering the centre.
