Located in Longueuil, on the South Shore of Montreal, this plant is not only the centre par excellence of the largest players in the aerospace industry for landing gear repair and maintenance, but also the plant that is recognized for the manufacture of the famous legs of the Apollo 11 lunar module.

**Summary of position**:
The Account Manager coordinates all business development and commercial activities for one or many important customers.

The job responsibilities include promoting and representing the company, identification of new business opportunities, commercial offer preparation, contract negotiation, contractual requirement revision and communication to the team.

The Account Manager is responsible to manage the customer relationship throughout all of the program phases. New business opportunities include design programs; build to print opportunities, after-market support, repair and overhaul. The Account Manager entertains the business relationship and negotiates contract amendments.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Main responsible for business development with the designated account;
- Prepare commercial offers in response to RFP, present to management for approval and present proposals to customer;
- Act as the customer main point of contact for all programs and coordinate with the Program Manager(s) all necessary actions to build and maintain a positive business relationship;
- Answer customer requests and manage in a timely manner;
- Communicate contractual information to Héroux-Devtek’s different sites and teams;
- Support Program Manager to effectively administrate the contract;
- Monitor contract status and communicate results to management;
- Manage all contractual documents that support the business relationship;
- Analyze contract to ensure conformity to governmental specification and specific regulations such as FARS, DFARS, ITAR.
- Lead responses to audits related to bid proposals, if required by the customer and governmental authorities.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor in engineering, business or other pertinent field;
- Experience in the aerospace industry, in engineering or fabrication projects;
- Sales or procurement experience; experience in establishing win-win business relationships;
- Effective time management and priorities setting;
- Available for business travels, participation to conference & trade shows;
- Contract Management skills;
- Coaching skills;
- Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken. French an asset.
