Sales Advisor

Do you enjoy home design, decor and beautiful interiors? Do you have proven prospecting and closing skills and can maintain highly productive sales relationships?
We are growing and are looking for an independent sales representative to represent EDEN Home Design furniture portfolio to select retail storefront accounts within a designated geographic region across Ontario.
This is a perfect role for a highly motivated, self-disciplined individual who can connect easily with people and has exceptional communication skills. If so, we would love to hear from you
What you would be doing:
**Sales Growth & Business Development**:
- Identify and pursue new retail business opportunities within the provided territory.
- Reach out and engage with prospective accounts within the territory with the objective of consistently expanding the customer base.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to develop strategies for increasing sales.
- Communicate and meet with prospective customers throughout the territory as required to secure business and develop relationships.
- Create and provide weekly reporting on prospecting and sales activities to the company leadership team
**Customer Service & Engagement**:
- Represent company in a professional manner with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Demonstrate a through knowledge and expertise in our product lines
- Understand the unique needs of each customer including business issues, communications needs, and buying motives.
- Build trust, loyalty and solid long-term relationships with key decision makers.
- Engage in collaboratively building product strategies with customers that contributes to sales growth and also to product and inventory planning.
- Maintain clear and organized record of all communications and account related sales quotations, receipts, and documentation in a confidential manner
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years in the furniture, home decor, ore related industry.
- 3+ years working as a sales representative.
- Previous experience in meeting sales targets for wholesale distribution and product sales
- A customer-service oriented individual who is familiar with retail and retail buying decision making.
- A superior attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to travel locally within your area to visit key customers.
- A highly motivated self-starter with a high level of attention to detail.
- A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 20 per week
