Parkbridge’s 40 RV and cottage resort properties provide memorable getaways for seasonal and overnight guests. In stunning, picturesque locations, our resorts are where people what to play, recharge and make memories.
Reporting to the Property Manager, the Assistant Manager will be responsible for the administrative duties required at this busy year round resort office, fulfilling the company's responsibilities to its guests and supporting the Property Manager with all aspects of operation and management.
**_Guest Experience_**
- Welcome and process guest arrivals and departures, including necessary payments
- Resort Checks, attending to guest needs and maintaining resort standards (may include occasional light cleaning)
- Facilitate excellent guest experience; proactively deliver visitor (tourist) information.
- Efficiently handle guests’ concerns in a diplomatic, sensitive and confidential manner
- Expedite and assist group bookings (reservations & at check-in)
- Ensuring ongoing communication with team Oceanside and informing the manager of any and all pertinent activities within the resort.
**_Resort Operations_**
- Promote a work environment and develop admin practices that are customer focused
- Use a can-do approach in this small team, lead by example and be positive role model
- Responsibility for front desk accounting systems & procedures, including; Daily cash/credit payments, end of day reporting, front desk float, balancing daily accounts, petty cash, banking admin
- Cover resort manager’s days off with confidence and solid leadership abilities
- Excellent time management skills, multitasking and the ability to prioritize tasks with mínimal supervision
- Train and support front desk team in their daily duties.
- Carry out administrative duties such as data entry, filing, copying, scanning, etc
- Prepare reports, guest billing and financial data.
- Processing utility billing for guests
- Driving seasonal and overnight occupancy through effective sales and marketing
- Daily report processing based on online bookings
- balance with systems for all transactions/bookings/incoming phone calls and in-resort client needs
- Ability to interpret and implement company policies and procedures
**_Qualifications & Skills_**
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience; Clean Driver’s Abstract and Clean background/criminal check required
- Minimum 5 years of customer service experience
- Leadership and hospitality experience an asset
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have access to reliable transportation
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- On call availability for park emergencies
