**Position: Janitor/Cleaner**

**Job Overview**: The Janitor is responsible for ensuring that buildings and facilities are kept in a clean, orderly, and safe condition. They perform a variety of cleaning duties to maintain the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **General cleaning**:Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust furniture and fittings. Sanitize and clean bathrooms, ensuring replenished supplies like hand soap and toilet paper.
- **Trash handling**: Empty and clean trash containers, dispose of trash in a sanitary manner, and replace liners.
- **Inventory**: Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies inventory, notifying management when supplies are needed.

**Requirements**:

- PR or Canadian citizenship is mandatory
- Minimum 5 years of continuous residency in Canada.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services (preferred)
- Flexibility to work on the weekends

**Schedule**:Monday to Saturday (Full time)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Delta, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
- Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
