**Job Title**: Cleaner, Light Duty - Temp (Contract)
**Location**: Downtown, Vancouver BC (Amazon)
**Rate**: $18.66/hour
**Shifts**: Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 11:00pm
**About the Role**:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is a temporary opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized. This role is for a one month period with the possibility of extension.
**What you’ll be doing**:

- Cleaning assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, hauling waste streams to loading bay
- Collect and dispose trash in garbage, compost and recycle containers on a regular basis
- Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors and windowsills
- Cleaning of washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, and restocking of supplies
- Other responsibilities such as special projects as assigned by the site supervisor or manager
- Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment

**You have**:

- A willingness to work and learn
- The ability to obtain a background or security clearance
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
