Job Title:  Cleaner, Light Duty - Temp (Contract) Location:  Downtown, Vancouver BC (Amazon) Rate:  $18.66/hour 
  Shifts: Monday to Friday 5:00pm to 11:00pm

About the Role:

We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is a temporary opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized. This role is for a one month period with the possibility of extension.

What you’ll be doing:

Cleaning assigned areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, hauling waste streams to loading bay Collect and dispose trash in garbage, compost and recycle containers on a regular basis Spot clean walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches, doors and windowsills Cleaning of washrooms, sanitizing, mopping, and restocking of supplies Other responsibilities such as special projects as assigned by the site supervisor or manager Follow pre-set policies, guidelines, and rules to maintain a safe working environment

You have:

A willingness to work and learn The ability to obtain a background or security clearance Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
