Location : Science World - 1455 Quebec Street
Wage : $19.38/hour

Shift : Part Time

Saturday - 5pm to 12am 
Sunday - 5pm to 12am

About the Role:

We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space at one of our newest sites This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

What you’ll be doing:

Disinfecting all high touch point areas Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming Experience working with cleaning machines such as walk behind Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc. Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glass Scrubbing, mopping, heavy sweeping, cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial Industry Additional tasks assigned by Manager

You have:

Motivation and a willingness to work and learn Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required Must be able to pass a background check
