At Comfort Keepers, we provide uplifting in-home care for seniors and adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance in their home. As the Business Development Coordinator, you will work with a network of caring professionals that helps Comfort Keepers deliver one-on-one care that enhances the quality of life of our clients and their families. As a valued member of our Care team, you will assist clients and their families in their home care journey by connecting with seniors, educating them about our services, determining their needs and ensuring they are provided with the care they require, where and when they need it. You will be based out of our Barrie office with the expectation that you will be out attending events, networking, connecting with potential business partners, meeting with clients and contract partners.

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Business Development Coordinator. The schedule for the role is Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. This is an in
- office position with travel in the community.

**What will you do?**
- Explore business development opportunities and network with referral sources within the community
- Attend promotional and networking events in the community with the goal of increasing brand awareness and knowledge of our services
- Connect with current and potential stakeholder partners to foster positive relationships and communication
- Work with patients and families to assess their needs, develop individualized care plans and facilitate caregiver introductions.
- Work in tandem with the scheduling department and front-line staff to ensure client needs are met.

**What must you have?**
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, assessment, and decision-making skills
- A strong sense of empathy, compassion, problem solving and customer service
- A strong history of networking and sales preferably within the healthcare field
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to work independently and co-operatively in a busy environment
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in the Microsoft office suite

**What would give you the edge?**
- Experience working with diverse patient groups, e.g., multicultural, acquired brain injury (ABI), mental health, geriatrics, dementia, Alzheimer’s, etc.
- Ability to speak a second language is an asset
- History of a successful sales close rate on services to the public

**Compensation?**

45-50k per annum plus commission
