**Position Summary**:
Under the general direction of Senior Contract Manager, this role is responsible for transferring data to computer files and/or database systems. Ensures adherence to the Company’s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian’s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. This role will be based out of Ontario.

This is a one-year contract with option for extension.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Accurately enter and update procurement-related data into the company's systems, including purchase orders, supplier information, pricing.
- Verify and validate procurement and vendor data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and resolve any data discrepancies or issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Assist with regular audits and quality checks on procurement data to identify and address any inconsistencies or errors.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standardized data entry procedures and documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Support procurement/contracts team members by providing data and reports as requested, contributing to the overall effectiveness and efficiency of procurement operations.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement data management to recommend and implement improvements to existing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance and inventory management, to ensure seamless integration and accuracy of procurement data across systems.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies and guidelines when handling sensitive procurement information.
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
- Manages other initiatives as required.

**Education and Qualifications**
- High School Diploma: Post-secondary education in a relative field or suitable combination of education and experience an asset.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience with purchasing and/or procurement an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Computer literacy in MS Office; experience with JDE or similar ERP required.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Able to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
