**TITLE OF POSITION REPORTING TO**:Office Administrator & Volunteer
Coordinator
**LOCATION**: Sherwood Park, AB
**TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT**: Short Term, ending Aug 31/23 Part-time
20 hrs/wk Monday - Friday 10:00am-2:30pm
**START DATE**: As soon as possible
**SALARY**:$20/hr
A. OBJECTIVES: (overall function and purpose of this position)
1. Provide support to the Admin Assistant of the Strathcona Shelter Society Ltd.
- Answering phones
- Greeting Visitors
- Accepting donations
- Sorting Donations [pickup and/or delivery may be necessary]
- Able to lift 25 lbs
2. Provide support to the Volunteer Coordinator, as required.
- Making phone calls to potential donors and clients
- Pickups and deliveries as needed for Fund raising events [may include some evenings and weekends]
- Assisting at any Fundraising events including set-up and take-down
- Able to lift 25 lbs
3. To provide clerical support to the Bookkeeper as required
4. Respect the confidentiality of the shelter facility and information regarding all clients past and present in all transactions with outside agencies and persons
B. SCOPE: Placement within the organization
The office support position reports directly to the Admin Assistant and the Volunteer
Coordinator, but will be available for all members of the Village staff.

Required:
1. Experience using Microsoft office
2. Ability to work independently

5. Have a vehicle and willing to do deliveries
