We are looking for an experienced **HR & Payroll Coordinator **to support our growing team

**What will you be doing?**

You will report directly to the HR Generalist as an integral part of our HR team. You will support the HR Generalist in processing weekly and biweekly payroll for the Company, electronic filing and maintenance of employee records, collecting and processing new hire documentation, maintaining the HRIS (ADP), and provide support in various HR initiatives. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, a knack for numbers, problem solving, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated experience in payroll administration.

**Kay Accountabilities**:

- Payroll Administration (weekly and bi weekly) for 300-500 seasonal/salaried/hourly/unionized staff;
- Collaborate with ADP Comprehensive Services Representative to process payroll, approve time off requests/time cards, ad review payroll reports;
- Keep record of employee expenses, gratuities, and manual hours to be processed by payroll using given Autoform;
- Process third party remittances such as union dues, and WSIB;
- Support the HR Generalist with electronic filing of various onboarding and employee related documents;
- Maintain HRIS using ADP (New hires/Terminations);
- Issue employment letters and ROE as required;
- Monitor and process rate changes, transfers, promotions and terminations;
- Account reconciliations - including monthly WSIB reconciliation, Payroll History Report reconciliation every pay to the ADP Master Control;
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis;
- Conduct Onboarding of new hires (including completion of **mandatory background checks**, create new hire presentations, conducting introductory tours, etc.);
- Work closely with IT/Commercial Property Manager to ensure new hires have access to Outlook/ Drives/Fobs & Keys;
- Supporting the HR generalist with drafting contracts/agreements as required;
- Recruit talent using various channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, Headhunting, External recruiters, etc.);
- Conduct phone screens and interviews;
- Provide support and general guidance to Managers and The Senior Management team on hiring best practises;
- Develop phone screen templates/interview guides for key roles;
- Research and stay informed about new and current HR/Payroll processes;
- Provide back up to the HR Generalist as required;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Undergraduate degree /College Diploma in a related discipline, preferably (HR Management/Accounting/Payroll);
- 3-5 years of demonstrated payroll administration experience;
- PCP/CPM certified;
- Strong understanding and knowledge of payroll and tax legislations;
- Familiarity with standard HR functions;
- Experience with ADP is mandatory;
- Experience working with WSIB;
- Strong reporting skills;
- Attention to detail;
- MS Office Suite (Intermediate-Expert in Excel);
- Positive attitude and Team oriented;
- Strong Communication skills;
