Felix is leading the charge in the disruption of the payments industry. Our patented cloud technology transforms consumer-grade smartphones into secure portable payment terminals using no additional hardware. You will be supporting growth across all Felix product lines.

This is a full-time position, and you must be available to work in our office in Yaletown from 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the marketing team, conduct regular check in meetings and performance review with team members and lead the recruiting, hiring, and training initiatives.
- Oversee marketing campaigns, track performance, and optimize audience segmentation to increase customer engagement and conversion rates.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to support lead generation efforts.
- Utilize SEO strategies and techniques to improve the company’s online visibility and organic search rankings.
- Manage marketing budget and identify trends and insights to optimize spend and performance based on performance and insights.
- Responsible for the overall web design and development initiatives. Manage website content and monitor its performance, making necessary improvements to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
- Create agency quality promotional videos using motion graphics and video.
- Measure ROI and produce custom reports to share with the executive management team, drive data-driven decisions and establish effective frameworks, metrics, and strategies to inform the company's approach to brand building and channel-based marketing strategies.
- Manage key relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns and projects. E.g., website and content localization.
- Track competitors and evaluate their strategies and positioning and devise counterstrategies. Keep the company up to date with payment industry trends and emerging products.

**Requirements and Skills**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a B2B technology focused environment.
- A degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in creatively positioning and marketing products in a highly competitive and regulated environment on the national and/or global stage.
- Exposure to substantial and significant scale within a fast-growing payments or SaaS company.
- Strong understanding of the financial technology industry and its trends.
- Proven track record of generating revenue and developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional written and communication skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex concepts into a clear and engaging manner.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into compelling, logical, and relevant narratives for executives, peers, customers, and partners.
- A highly collaborative approach with the ability to bring new ideas and vision to life, communicating and influencing at all decision-making levels.
- Experience using and implementing tools for:
- Graphic design - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- UX/UI design for websites and product mock-ups - XD, Figma & Wordpress
- Motion graphics tools - After effects & Premiere
- Video production - Premiere Pro
- AI for copy generation - Chat GPT & Grammarly
- LinkedIn Lead generation tools - Phantom buster or similar
- Sales prospecting tools such as Apollo & Sales navigator
- CRM - Zoho or similar
