**Our team is seeking a organized and patience bookkeeper w**ho is experienced and able to coordinate with our team. As a part-time bookkeeper, you will be working closely with our marketing and operations team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects and campaigns.

**Job Summary**:As our bookkeeper, you will be taking over the role of our existing bookkeeper where everything is up to date. We use a variety of software to assist in the position and are always open to new ideas.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- **Recording Transactions**: Enter financial transactions into QuickBooks
- with receipts/ invoice attachment. Maintain records of income, expenses, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Investigate and rectify any discrepancies found during reconciliation.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments. Issue and send invoices to customers for goods or services provided. Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain payment records.
- **Financial Reporting**: Generate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Prepare financial reports on a regular basis to provide insights into the organization's financial status.
- **Expense Tracking**:Categorize and record expenses accurately, ensuring proper allocation to appropriate accounts. Monitor expense trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- **Payroll Processing**: Calculate and process employee salaries, benefits, and deductions. Ensure accurate tax withholding and compliance with payroll regulations.
- **Compliance and Documentation**: Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audits and reference purposes.Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resources and budgets for marketing campaigns and projects. Collaborate with internal team leads and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth production of projects from start to finish.
- **Filings**: Preparing and processing various monthly and annual Provincial and Federal filings and remittances such as PST, GST, WCB etc.
- A very strong handle of the English language and the ability to write perfectly in English
- Organization, self-discipline, and the ability to manage multiple articles simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to project challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Strong Computer skills: Quickbooks, MS 365, word processing, document management software
- Experience with office administration procedures

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $35,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
