**Position Description**

The Administrative Assistant plays an integral role in the operational efficiency and organizational strength of BBB (Serving Southern Alberta and East Kootenay). The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support supporting leadership in its efforts to advance trust in the marketplace.

As the first line of contact, this customer-facing position supports the organization in its mandate. This position will partner with accredited business services, sales, and administration to support our community.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
**Administration**:

- Process all incoming and outgoing mail including delivering mail to postal outlet when required.
- Ordering and maintaining of office supplies.
- Maintain office and meeting rooms, including coordination of external bookings of meeting space.
- Update and keep current the phone systems and internal staff directory.
- Provide administrative direction and support to internal teams, including Leadership.
- Support on events, both internal and external, including room set up, ordering food, and meeting materials.
- Maintain corporate records and general internal reporting.

- Exceptional, proven customer service primarily over telephone
- Confident in leading/handling difficult conversations
- Active listening skills, strong written and verbal skills
- Proficiency in Office365
- Exceptional problem-solving and demonstrated critical thinking
- Capable at working independently and in a face-paced environment
- Emphasizes corporate mission, vision and long-term goals
- Ability to navigate conflict and provide collaborative solutions
- Strong organization skills and emphasis on priority management

Working Environment

Working hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Tuesday to Thursday.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
