**About The Role**

The Donor Relations Associate will provide administrative and operational support of strategies that strengthen donor engagement. This position ensures efficient and effective gift processing in accordance with charity and tax laws.

As a member of the Ecojustice Philanthropy team, the Donor Relations Associate is responsible for:

- Processing Mail (daily); preparing cheques and forms for the Finance Department
- Processing donations and gift receipts including one-time donations and monthly donation updates and complete associated reconciliation
- Donor Stewardship including thanking, responding to, and notifying recipients of "in honour" or "in memory" gifts
- Data management including adding, updating, removing data and creating reports
- Support the Donor Relations Manager with monthly tasks including credit/debit processing

**Role Success**

Typically, we find that people who succeed in this role bring:

- 1-2 years of administration experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar office administration software
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- French language skills
- Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to prioritize
- Effective problem-solving skills and is self-motivated
