**Job Title: Program Assistant - Women Rising**
Organization: Low Entropy Foundation
**Job Type**: 3-Month Contract, 40 hours per week
Wage: $20/hr
**Location**: Our thrift store and base of operations is located at #408 - 552 Clarke Rd, Coquitlam, BC. Travel throughout the Tri-Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody) and Lower Mainland for events and organizational activities is expected. A driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is a requirement of this position.

**About Us**
Our core programs and initiatives center around women’s leadership, and employment readiness. Our social enterprise, Thrift & Fund, is a thrift store that we operate which directly funds our organization.
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Assistant to support our Women Rising program. Women Rising is a leadership and empowerment program for women and gender diverse folks. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide direct support to the Executive Director in the day to day operations of the Women Rising program.
- Coordinate logistics for the Women Rising program events. This includes event booking, setting up, cleaning up, catering, and more.
- Organize the mentorship program for Women Rising, matching mentors and mentees, and ensuring program standards are met.
- Assist with general administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, and meeting coordination.
- Help manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Represent the organization at special events and community groups.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Liaise with team members to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Additional duties as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in administration, program coordination, or related fields
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate team members and volunteers
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
- Proficient in using Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Passion for our organization's mission and values.
- **Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required**:
- Clear criminal records check
- Ability to work evenings and weekend hours as needed.
**Benefits**:
- $20/hr
- 40-hour workweek; general schedule will be Mon-Fri daytime, however evening and weekend availability for Women Rising events is mandatory (Nov 2, Nov 14, Nov 30). Potential evening and weekend availability needed for additional events.
