Working alongside other members of the Physician Practice Supports (PPS) team, the Panel Management Assistant will ensure that clinic processes for panel identification, maintenance, management, as well as access are in place, widely understood and consistently followed. The Panel Management Assistant will ensure that each physician’s panel is kept accurate and clean in the electronic medical record system (EMR).This role is based out of the Rundle Health Centre location but will function predominately in clinic offices.**Position**

Panel Management Assistants support the Medical Home of our family physicians through optimizing the use of electronic medical records (EMR). Panel Management Assistants improve patient care through improving screening best practices.**Report to**

Executive Director**Education**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of Medical Office Assistant or Administration Program required

**Experience**
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical reception experience
- Experience with Panel Identification, Maintenance and Management
- Experience with physician’s clinical screening needs
- Working knowledge and experience with EMR’s (HealthQuest, Med Access, Wolf, etc.)

**Skills**
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in addition to being able to identify the most appropriate method of communication
- Build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to organize time, multi-task and set priorities to meet various deadlines and maintain a flexible schedule
- Able to work with mínimal supervision, organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Strong follow-through and attention to detail
- Strong listening, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
