**Job Title**:Billing Administrator
**Reports to**:Finance Manager
**Job Purpose**
To support the Company by overseeing all aspects of the customer billing process, carrier invoice management and undertaking other administrative billing related tasks. This role offers a diverse range of tasks that provides a breadth of experience in developing various office and finance related skills within the transportation industry.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties Include**:
- Responsible for processing a high volume of customer and carrier invoices on a daily basis through a variety of forums.
- Verifying order information for bills of lading, POD’s, etc.
- Ensuring assessorial charges and/or cost recoveries are authorized and invoiced accordingly.
- Ensure customers are invoiced correctly and efficiently.
- Verifies validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales, operations, and customers.
- Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
- Ensure carriers are invoiced correctly and in accordance with quote and/or POD’s.
- Manage, and ensure accuracy, for all freight a fuel charges for both carriers and customers.
- Process credit notes and billing corrections when applicable.
- Daily interaction and communication with customers and carriers.
- Other miscellaneous administrative responsibilities as needed.
- Provide back-up for the accounts receivable administrator when required to ensure collection of accounts receivables on a timely basis.

**Education and/or Experience**:
- Post secondary degree required.
- Office experience working independently and without supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with a variety of software programs (Microsoft office, adobe, etc).
- Well-developed communication, interpersonal, and time management skills are a must.
- Experience in an administrative support or accounting function.
- Contribute to an upbeat and safe atmosphere in the workplace.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Transportation Industry experience an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 18-24 months
**Salary**: $36,000.00-$44,000.00 per year
