**HR & Payroll Specialist**

**Your Duties**:
- Oversee and manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for new and departing employees.
- Administer and monitor performance management processes, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations for all staff.
- Align HR objectives with management goals.
- Advise Leadership on initiatives that support the business while ensuring compliance with current legislation and working standards.
- Reviews and verifies payroll including commission calculations and is responsible for employee data management in the payroll system including data entry.
- Responsible for new hires, changes, terminations along with preparing and issuing ROE’s and T4’s.
- This position chairs the Safety Committee. (Employee safety, welfare, and wellness education)
**Your Qualifications**:
- Minimum 3 Years in Human Resource Generalist position with oversight for 30+ Employees along direct experience in processing payroll.
- Completion of Post-Secondary Education with focus on Human Resources. (CPHR Certification is an asset.) Work experience will be considered as equivalent.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PPT, Word, Outlook)
