We are currently looking for a People and Culture Coordinator to join our dynamic team for a one-year term.

This will be a remote work opportunity, with occasional in-person meetings/gatherings. This position will help continue to strengthen our people-first culture If contributing to a great culture excites you, we’d love to meet you

**Your Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- People operations and culture; includes HR duties such as managing sMedia’s HRIS, assisting with payroll setup, and planning/execution of team-building events.
- Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
- Booking travel & accommodations as needed.
- Employee benefits plan management.
- OH&S management.
- Coordinate and organize company social events.
- Support with recruitment, interview coordination, and resume screening.
- Handle ad hoc projects and requests as they arise.

**Your Background**:

- Two years experience in office administration or human resources support.

Your Skills and Mindset:

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while remaining poised and composed under pressure
- Have keen attention to detail, especially when it comes to written communications, scheduling, and projects
- Tech savvy, needs to be able to operate in a tech space
- Ability to work on multiple priorities and/or projects simultaneously
- Strong customer relationship skills with excellent verbal and written skills
- Highly organized with great attention to detail
- Critical problem-solving abilities and ability to meet reasonable deadlines
- Comfortability working with highly sensitive and confidential information
