We are currently seeking a **Payroll / Benefits Administrator** for our busy Surrey Head Office located in Port Kells, Surrey. If you have payroll experience and are looking for that perfect role coupled with a variety of HR administration duties, then this job is for you You will be working with an energetic and fun HR team committed to bringing the employee experience to the next level at Falcon Equipment

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Full cycle payroll process using a third-party payroll service (Rise People), assuring compliance with all applicable federal and provincial regulations and company policies.
- All assigned administrative duties that support and develop the Human Resources department.
- Admin duties include but are not limited to the filing/scanning of correspondence, employee documentation, such as benefits and other records.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Post Secondary Diploma in Accounting or Human Resources.
- 2-3 years’ Canadian payroll experience is a must (preferably the Western Canadian provinces).
- Working towards a PCP or CHRP designation would be an asset.
- Previous experience with benefits is an asset.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships.
- Experience with payroll systems, internal controls, and human resources.
- Great time management and computer skills.
- Always seeking ways to improve processes to promote technology.
- Able to break down complex problems, identify issues and develop solutions.
- Can stay focused in a changing environment.
- Is honest, straightforward and actively embodies Falcon’s Core Values & Traits.
- Can maintain a professional and respectful demeanor at all times.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be very detail oriented with capturing data and preparing correspondence.

- Must have a real sense of urgency and be focused on meeting deadlines.
- Willing to learn and provide ideas and/or out-of-the-box solutions.
