**The Accountabilities**:
The goal of this position is to provide an outstanding service experience to patients and their care providers. The key accountabilities of the role include:

- Act as a first point of contact for patients during their in-clinic experience
- Greet patients and visitors as they arrive
- Ensure tasks including New bookings, Rescheduling, Cancellation, Arrivals and Upload Reports are completed in a timely manner
- Utilize zoom setting up meetings, excel experience,
- Manage patient check-ins, enquiries and phone calls
- Ensure maximum client satisfaction through a high quality service approach
- Accurately register patients by obtaining complete demographics, insurance information and consent.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow ups
- Facilitate patient flow by communicating patients' arrival
- Respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and empathetic manner
- Maintain attention to detail for all medical records. Scan documents into patient charts
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all required forms and documentation are completed per check in protocols
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
- Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area
- Build rapport with patients by responding to inquiries and communicate next steps to patient
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide and gather information, enabling patient requirements to be dealt with efficiently
- Organize and assist staff schedule and paperwork

**Required skills and experience**:

- Medical office experience
- Accounting experience is an asset
- Demonstrated high quality, compassionate, customer centred experience
- Proven ability to work proficiently and independently in a busy fast paced environment
- Ability to establish priorities and achieve objectives with mínimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Superior telephone etiquette
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Proficiency in technology including MS Office
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to deal with sensitive information with a high degree of privacy and diplomacy
- Team orientation

Social media an absolute asset as you will be trained on website maintenance and uploading blogs, etc

We are a progressive organization with a team passionate about healthcare. Our team is comprised of clinical, clinical support and business roles with an entrepreneurial approach.

The Reception team takes pride in our patient focused environment and works very closely with other service and clinical teams. This role has extensive face to face patient interaction.

**Salary**: From $25.00 - 28.00/hour plus 4% vacation pay

Schedule:

- First Month Monday Wednesday Friday 9:30 - 2:30
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9-5
- Day shift
