**Position Description**:
**Administrative (Centre) Coordinator, Garry Hurvitz Centre for Brain & Mental Health**

Reporting to the Centre Director, Garry Hurvitz Centre for Brain & Mental Health (GH-CBMH), the Program Coordinator will provide operational-level administrative leadership to all educational and evaluative activities related to the Centre. The Senior Program Coordinator will be responsible for leading various forms of engagement with researchers, knowledge users, policy makers, community members, and other stakeholders, including events and other educational activities and initiatives (e.g. workshops, conferences). The incumbent will also lead the development and oversight of all internal and external communications, and will provide primary administrative support to the GH-CBMH Education and Executive Committees.

**Here's What You¿ll Get to Do**
- Lead all program delivery aspects of the GH-CBMH Education portfolio, including the planning and delivery of all educational events, workshops, talks and conferences, and the creation and dissemination of knowledge and information for internal and external use. Act as primary program contact to coordinate and facilitate engagement of GH-CBMH membership and community partners.
- Lead all GH-CBMH communications, including the design and production of quarterly newsletters, event promotion, and social media, and ongoing management of the GH-CBMH central inbox.
- Knowledge of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement, and proven leadership in the development of high-quality communications materials with timely, relevant, accurate content
- Develop evaluation tools for GH-CBMH Education events and initiatives, collate and interpret results and share with GH-CBMH Leadership for ongoing quality improvement
- Participate and co-lead meetings related to the program and act as a central resource. Organize, attend and take minutes; distribute agendas and minutes for meetings; and report to committees as appropriate on administrative processes

**Here¿s What You¿ll Need**:

- Bachelor¿s degree/diploma or equivalent professional experience in public health, health policy, communications, journalism, science or social science
- Public/community engagement experience within healthcare or research sector
- Experience working on collaborative projects with researchers, health professionals, partners and/or other stakeholder groups/organizations, including community organizations and policymakers
- Exceptional attention to detail, a professional demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences and build partnerships/collaborations between diverse groups of stakeholders from a variety of sectors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team as well as take initiative independently
- Excellent organizational skills and the proven ability to manage multiple projects, workflows and timelines
- Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency with communications/graphic design tools like Canva or Mailchimp an asset

**Employment Type**: 1.00 FTE, permanent position with benefits. Hybrid position
