Job Summary:
Reporting to the Manager, People Systems and Service, the Coordinator, People Systems will process team member information and maintain team member records in all People and Culture systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Process day-to-day transactions and maintain confidential team member records in all people systems
- Develop custom reports and respond to ad hoc reporting requests from the business
- Run scheduled reports and create reports
- Update and maintain system user data tables, including exporting, analysis, formatting and importing data
- Ensure the accuracy of information entered into the systems by conducting routine audits
- Assist in the testing of system upgrade features as they are implemented and verify quality assurance
- Support the communication and roll-out of People Systems initiatives aimed at enhancing the team member experience
- Work with the team to streamline procedures, optimize system-based reporting
- Ensure compliance with necessary legislative practices and actively identify gaps, propose and implement changes as necessary
- Maintain current and updated documentation, workflow and work procedures
- Able to work independently and excel in a collaborative environment
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy.

Qualifications:

- 2+ years experience working in human resources with a focus on HRIS or People Systems
- Ability to problem solve while exercising sound judgment
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable, etc.,)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytic skills
- Ability to build relationships through strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Demonstrate discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential and sensitive nature.
