**About the role**

The Construction Project Manager is charged with the strategic direction of projects and their alignment with organizational objectives. Their primary responsibility is to organize and oversee all stakeholders in a project to manage project plans and timelines, present project initiatives to senior executives, and to ensure that project goals are met or exceeded.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with the senior leadership team and internal stakeholders
- Developing full-scale project plans and timelines while clearly communicating them to the project team
- Directing and overseeing feasibility studies and risk analysis to ensure project plans align with senior leadership goals
- Estimating the resources and participants required to achieve project goals and working with leadership to properly staff the project team
- Ensuring proper financial management of the project, working alongside the Finance and Accounting teams to ensure cashflows are in line with project goals
- Aligning with all project team members to ensure that designs, budgets, and schedules are well coordinated and communicated and providing leadership to the project team and leading team meetings.
- Defining success criteria and disseminating them to involved parties throughout project and program life cycle
- Ensuring that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards to resolve issues and avoid conflict
- Providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks, and issues, communicating frequently to leadership
- Delivering appropriate and effective executive level communication

**What we’re looking for**
- 5+ years of Project Management experience is required
- Experience in residential construction is an asset
- Education in relevant fields such as Construction Management is an asset
- Extensive understanding of project management principles, methods, and techniques is required
- Detailed understanding of all aspects and disciplines within the project scope (Development, Servicing, Financing, Construction, Design, Sales, etc.) is required
- Strong leadership skills; Able to inspire and motivate team members towards a common goal
- Ability to think and plan projects on a strategic level
- Excellent organization and public speaking skills
- Ability to influence and foster an environment of shared accountability
- Ability to be flexible and highly adaptive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
