We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pre-Construction Project Manager to join our team. Position: Pre-Construction Project Manager

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Employment Type: Full-time

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the pre-construction phase of projects, collaborating closely with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct thorough site visits and assessments to identify potential challenges, risks, and opportunities.
- Analyze project requirements, including drawings and specifications, to develop accurate project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors to select the best options based on pricing, quality, and scope.
- Collaborate with the project team to develop comprehensive and detailed estimates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Prepare project proposals and contracts, outlining the scope of work, deliverables, timelines, and financial terms.
- Manage the procurement process, including reviewing purchase orders and contracts for alignment with project scopes and estimates.
- Provide guidance and support during the project kick-off phase, ensuring all team members are aligned with project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct regular project review meetings to assess progress, address challenges, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks and conflicts throughout the pre-construction phase.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Pre-Construction Project Manager, with a strong background in estimating, project analysis, and scope development.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in interpreting architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with construction-related software, such as Coconstruct, is a plus.
