**Your Role**

As Project Manager, you’ll join our team who lead interior renovation projects and provide furniture, fixture, and equipment services with major capital construction for both new buildings and renovations. Working within our Manitoba team on projects for institutional and corporate clients on a range of building types.

**Responsibilities**:

- Consult directly with clients and stakeholders, funding partners, design and construction professionals to plan and implement interior renovations and furniture, fixture and equipment requirements for capital projects - from programming and schematic design through to project completion and close out.
- Complete quantity take-offs for furniture and owner procured/supplied equipment from a program of requirements, sketches or drawing packages to develop the furniture and equipment budget for owner procured items.
- Complete inventory of existing furniture and equipment. Work with the client to determine items for reuse in their new or renovated facility.
- Liaise with design and specialty consultants to ensure all furniture, fixtures and equipment infrastructure requirements (electrical, data, backing, structural supports, etc.) are understood and incorporated into construction drawings and specification.
- Prepare procurement plans that outline requirements for the purchase of new furniture and equipment along with the methodology that will be followed to acquire the items.
- Prepare procurement documents to commission the services of specialty consultants or acquire furniture and equipment.
- Act as the owner’s representative with contract administration activities for furniture and equipment including shop drawing reviews, responses to requests for information, deficiency reviews, invoice reviews, etc.
- Working with vendors and the general contractor project, develop logistic plans for the delivery and installation of furniture and equipment pre and post occupancy.
- Working with the client, lead the development of move management plans and support the coordination of move services and/or staff activities.
- Lead your project teams with your ability to manage change, communicate and coordinate between multiple stakeholders, resolve issues, and deliver projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in project management and interior design
- A university degree or diploma in interior design or architecture including architectural technology
- PMP designation or other industry recognized credentials is an asset
- Demonstrated experience with interior renovations, including building code requirements, accessibility standards, material and finish selection/ specification, construction methodologies, mechanical coordination, electrical coordination, information technology requirements, audio-visual system requirements, signage, furniture systems and ancillary furniture.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, time management and organizational skills
- Ability to resolve client, project and technical challenges
