**POSITION **SUMMARY**:
The Manager leads all aspects of their program(s) and service(s) from proposal writing to wind-down. The Manager plans,
coordinates, develops, and delivers systems and processes that support the efficient and effective delivery of program(s) and service(s), and ensures contract outcomes are met. The Manager leads and supports program staff, liaises with funders and community partners, and pursues ongoing funding for program(s) and service(s).
As part of the Centre for Diversity, the Manager promotes and facilitates social and civic engagement among immigrants as a crucial part of their integration into Canadian society, including, but not limited to, the activities of the Social and Civic Opportunities: Pathways to Equity Program (SCOPE) and the development of online asynchronous social and civic engagement modules. This role also includes managing the delivery of community engagement activities and capacity-building initiatives with immigrant communities.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Ensure existing and new programs and services are consistent with organization values, and mandate/mission.
- Monitor projects against milestones, report and inform funders, partners and clients of delays or issues
- Provide analytical data and recommendations to the Senior Manager or Director to track performance and improvements.
- Establish and track targets.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications department to maintain an online presence (e.g., website, social media, etc.)
- Work with the Senior Manager or Director and other programs to identify needs, develop new initiatives, and identify relevant funding.
- Manage finances, and resources, and develop project/program budgets.
- Manage employee development and performance.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with funders and community partners.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of developments that may affect current business and operational plans. Regularly inform the Senior Manager or Director on the progress toward objectives.
- Ensure timely, accurate completion of narrative and data reports.
- Convene and manage national, regional, and local collaboration and advisory committees as required.
- Coach, mentor, train, and provide growth opportunities.
- Supervise direct reports, and authorize work schedules, overtime, time off, and leaves of absence as needed.
- Develop new online services and resources in collaboration with other programs.
- Develop and maintain a process for creating, revising, and distributing promotional material.
- Develop and implement a client and community Outreach Plan.
- Ensure implementation of MOSAIC’s policies and procedures
