Voilà is a new team dedicated to launching and scaling Sobeys new e-commerce grocery home delivery business. This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up within a larger organization. You will help launch and operate a new brand in the Alberta, Ontario and Quebec markets powered by Ocado Group’s world-leading e-commerce grocery platform. **Ready to Make an impact?**:
We are looking for an Analyst, Partnership Development who will play an important role in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships for Voilà. As part of our team, you will focus on driving growth and expanding our network through targeted market research, prospect evaluation, and relationship-building efforts.

**Here’s where you’ll be focusing**:

- Conduct market research to identify prospective partnerships in key markets
- Evaluate prospects by analyzing their product ranges, customer base, and market messaging
- Determine the overlap of prospects with Voilà’s existing business, estimate their value, and prioritize the list of prospects using additional criteria as necessary
- Utilize various methods such as cold messaging, calling, visiting, leveraging company contacts, social media, and attending conferences to schedule initial meetings with priority prospects
- Track partnerships through the pipeline and assist with partnership onboarding with the Merchandising and Marketing teams until the partnership is live
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop partnership reporting metrics to measure success and recommend follow-up actions

**What you have to offer**:

- At least 2 years experience in sales or business development
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Experience with analytic reporting tools (Tableau, Salesforce or any equivalent)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (BCom, BBA, BBM, etc) or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to engage and persuade prospects through active listening and adaptable communication skills, overcoming challenges to secure partnerships
- Strong analytical aptitude to assess and prioritize prospects based on various metrics, evaluating progress and optimizing strategies for success
- Innovative mindset with a knack for identifying novel approaches to prospecting and partnership development, fostering creative collaborations that align with Voilà's objectives
- Knowledge of the retail industry
